Health & Wellness
At AUW, physical and mental health is seen as a way for students to foster a sense of respect and confidence in oneself and humanity, feel strong and empowered, and build community.
The Physical Education program at AUW emphasizes the importance of a healthy mind and body. The program provides students with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities, indoors and outdoors, as well as individual and team activities such as Martial Arts, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Yoga, Zumba, and others. Outdoor exercise is enjoyed on the beautiful AUW permanent campus site which is seven kilometers away from the current campus. Additionally, extra-curricular team sports are offered in Varsity and Junior Varsity basketball, football (soccer), and volleyball.
