Position:	CC TV monitoring officer

Location:	Chittagong Sadar (On Campus)

 

Asian University for Women (AUW), an independent international university with students drawn from 19 countries across Asia and Middle East. It is an educational institution looking for a candidate who holds knowledge in CC TV monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the onsite staff member of the University Control Room and or Security Desk Operation.
• Act as overall in-charge of a duty shift of AUW Control Room and Security Desks.
• Supervise, monitor and assist Control Room Operators.
• Responsible to employ, check and ensure attendance of all guards and security duties of AUW.
• Responsible to check and monitor the access control, CCTV monitoring, fire alarm and firefighting system regularly.
• Monitor all incidents, hazards and threats on AUW security and related issues and report immediately to the authority
• Assist to coordinate with other departments on security and related matters.
• Act during an emergency or crisis by informing related person or forces.
• Act accordingly in case of any emergency related to terrorist attack, firefighting and earthquake procedure.
• Arrange security and safety training to all guards regularly and all concern of AUW when it is required.
• Be prepare to perform security related tasks and other issues if it is assigned.
• Should be cooperative with all other administrative department of AUW.
• Keep all the security equipment operational and in good condition.
• Maintain liaison with law enforcing agencies including Ansar, Police and fire service civil defense of Bangladesh.
• Inform any abnormality to Director and Deputy Director of Security and Protocol Department.
• To carry out any other duties from time to time that may reasonably be required by the line manager.
• Responsible for trouble shooting job of all CC cameras system, control room and fix additional cameras or replace faulty one as needed.

Other Requirements:

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline, female candidate preferable

Experiences: At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in Safety & Security.

Skills: Need to have sound knowledge in computer, report writing skills in English{spoken/written}, Safety/Security procedures.
