Position:	Sr. Officer, Technical Support
Unit:	IT Department
Reports to:	Director IT/ Sr. Manager, Network Infrastructure.
Location:	Chittagong (BD)

 

Main Responsibilities of the Job:

• Should have extensive experience in Windows/Linux Server system administration.
• Work experience in VMware environment (vSphere & vCenter).
• Client system administration experience in Windows 7/8.1/10, iOS & Linux.
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (Routers, NGFW, Switches, Wireless APs).
• Capable of diagnosing system hardware issues and software failures.
• Independent problem solving, self-directed, self-starting with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding on LAN, WAN & Wireless LAN infrastructure.
• Should have broad technical knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies used within the corporate infrastructure.
• Good skills on deployment & troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance system.
• Should have strong knowledge of IP PABX/ SIP Telephony system.
• Sound knowledge on ERP application & database security.
• Maintain proper documentation for updating inventory of all hardware and IT products and information.
• To be able to work under pressure with short deadlines.
• Motivated to learn and work with new technologies.
• Teamwork & good communication skill.

Other Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant technical support environment.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA, MTCNA, or MCSA are an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics tools.
