AUW has committed to educate 600 new Afghan students and, working with partner organizations on the ground, led a recruitment drive campaigning across all 34 provinces in Afghanistan, receiving an overwhelming response of nearly 10,000 applications. 500 women have already arrived on campus, with the remaining students expected to arrive. These students will graduate from university with an undergraduate degree and will act as a brain bank ready to lead the Afghanistan of the future.
