Chittagong, Bangladesh (September 4, 2024) — The Asian University for Women (AUW) is excited to welcome 1,598 students back to campus as the new academic year begins. This marks the largest student body in AUW’s history, reflecting our ongoing commitment to expanding enrollment, with a goal of reaching 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students over the next five years.
The academic year has officially commenced, with all programs, student activities, and support services now fully operational. Our pre-undergraduate students are accommodated at the MM Ali Campus, while undergraduate and graduate students are housed at the Mahsa Amini Campus, which recently expanded with the addition of a new building.
While AUW remained unaffected by the recent political and civil unrest, the events underscored the importance of vigilance regarding campus security. In response, a Task Force, led by the Vice Chancellor, has been established to implement enhanced safety measures, ensuring a secure environment for all.
We deeply appreciate your ongoing support of AUW’s mission and look forward to another successful academic year.
