The Hon’ble Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, the Hon’ble Speaker of the Parliament, met with Mr. Kamal Ahmad, Founder of the Asian University for Women (AUW) at the Hon‘ble Speaker’s Jatiya Sangsad Office on Monday, July 10. Mr. Ahmad appraised the Speaker on progress with the Asian University for Women (AUW), particularly with respect to auw’s commitment toward the education of Afghan young women who are unable to pursue higher education in their own country. AUW has committed to support the education of 1,000 Afghan women, over 400 of whom are already in Chittagong.
