About the Position
The Asian University for Women (AUW) invites applications for faculty positions in Political Science commencing in the Fall 2025 / Spring 2026 trimesters. The mission is to educate and empower students to develop and deliver an academically rigorous major in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE).
Responsibilities
- Develop programs and the course curriculum
- Deliver lectures, conduct tutorials, and quizzes, and prepare assignments on the assigned courses.
- Teach 28 credits per academic year.
- Serve as an academic advisor and mentor to students.
- Supervise students in developing and implementing senior thesis projects including guiding them in data analysis, thesis writing, and presentation of findings
- Attract research funding and engage in research
- Provide leadership and service on academic committees and academic initiatives
- Maintain office hours for students
