Position: Officer, Security & Protocol (Female)
Unit: Officer, Security & Protocol
Reports to: Head of Security & Protocol
Start Date: As soon as possible

Core Responsibilities:
- Administering the safety & security system of the University
- Developing/updating the security system to maintain a safe work environment in the office
- Preventing and defecting offense on site
- Responding on all emergencies promptly when arises
- Ensuring continuous patrolling to the security spots and around the office premises
- Checking all the register which are being maintained in the security posts
- Following up with the third party’s security service deployed in different locations
- Producing necessary reports, records and documents to the line manager from time to time
- Maintaining liaison with the different government entities in respect of security & safety
- Receiving and dealing with any information that has a security dimension and deal with this in a confidential manner
- Analyzing, coordinating and assisting in recovery/mitigating activities in response to security-related emergency situations – coordinating activities with line manager
- Report to line manager on all noted incidents, hazards and accidents
- Scheduling and tracking security personnel’s time and attendance.
- Assisting line manager in day to day office work
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Master’s/Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university
- 1 to 2 year(s) of experience in a similar position
- Experience of managing a large in-house or contracted security workforce and a detailed knowledge of employment legislation and working practices is essential
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Expertise in the Microsoft Office tools
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong fluency in English and Bangla (both spoken and written)
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment with excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to build constructive partnerships and to engage in effective teamwork
- Ability to represent the University in a professional manner and to communicate effectively and persuasively.
