Main Responsibilities of the Job:
Recruitment and Selection
- Coordinate recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely, organized and comprehensive procedure to hire
- Prepare job description and job specification in communication with the concerned
- Prepare and place advertisement for vacant
- Schedule, organize, and participate in interviews.
- Conduct reference check of the selected
- Inform unsuccessful applicants who are
Managing Joining and Exit Formalities
- Conduct induction program for new joiners
- Arrange Staff ID cards and Business cards
- Create employee profile on HRIS module
- Share relevant information on policies and procedures with the new staff
- Conduct exit interview and ensure that exit clearance process is completed duly for the respective staff
Leave and Attendance Management
- Maintain updated leave records of the staff
- Ensure compliance of attendance and leave policy
- Oversee daily staff attendance on Timecard
- Investigate and recommend solution to resolve chronic attendance difficulties
- Prepare report on leave and staff attendance as required
Performance management
- Coordinate and manage yearly performance evaluation
- Advise line managers and staff to ensure an effective performance evaluation
- Provide staff with the basic counseling support to improve their performance
- Identify the training needs of staff and arrange necessary trainings and staff development initiatives
Managing Personnel Records
- Maintain personnel files in both electronic and paper copy
- Continuously update personnel records as required
- Ensure that HRIS module is updated and records are maintained in accordance with AUW policy and procedure
HR Policy and Procedure
- Communicate the policies and procedures with staff and management as it is required
- Ensure that the staff handbook is reviewed periodically and revised if required
- Ensure the compliance of the HR policy and procedure at all levels
Others
- Share the monthly payroll inputs with Finance in due course to ensure a timely salary disbursement
- Liaise with the insurance provider and provide staff with necessary support in regard to insurance claim/information
- Ensure that the mobile allowance of staff are duly processed each month
- Prepare contract with due diligence and issue to respective staff
- Prepare, and update (if required) staff holiday calendar
- Issue experience certificates, NOCs, letters etc. as requested and as per HR records
- Prepare necessary reports and share with the concerned department
Other Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from a reputed university
- 4+ year of experience in a similar position
- Must be organized and able to maintain confidential records
- Must be self-motivated, proactive and smart
- Must have good manners and patience to handle people
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Expertise in the Microsoft Office tools
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong fluency in English and Bangla (both spoken and written)
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment with excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to build constructive partnerships and to engage in effective teamwork
- Ability to represent the University in a professional manner and to communicate effectively and persuasively
