Unit: Mental Health Wellness Center
Reports to: Director of Wellness
Location: Chittagong (BD)
Type of position: Full-time position
Main Responsibilities of the Job:
The Good Life Center Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Good Life Center, a dedicated space for student relaxation and wellness. This individual will manage the center’s amenities, including the nap room, book corner, tea corner, indoor games, and outdoor terrace, ensuring that the environment remains welcoming, organized, and conducive to student wellbeing.
· Daily Operations:
o Open and close the Good Life Center on time.
o Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning space across all areas, including the nap room, book corner, tea corner, and terrace.
o Ensure all facilities (games, seating, books, etc.) are properly cared for and in good condition.
· Student Engagement & Support:
o Maintain a student register, logging entry and exit for safety and usage tracking purposes.
o Welcome students, provide information about the center, and answer any queries.
o Foster a supportive, friendly environment that promotes relaxation and wellness.
· Supervision & Coordination:
o Monitor and manage student behavior within the center, ensuring the space remains quiet and respectful.
o Coordinate with the university wellness team to promote student wellness activities.
o Ensure that all amenities, including the nap room and terrace, are used appropriately and in accordance with university guidelines.
· Facility Maintenance:
o Coordinate with maintenance staff for any repairs or cleaning needs.
o Manage stock levels of consumables such as tea, books, games, and other amenities.
o Report any issues or incidents to the Wellness team.
Other Requirements:
· Education Qualification: Graduate
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Experience in managing a facility or similar space is a plus.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds in a warm and empathetic manner.
· Basic computer skills for maintaining the student register and other administrative tasks.
