Position:	Electrician

Reports to:	Head of Maintenance
Job Location:	Chattogram Sadar

 

Main Responsibilities of the Job:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and lighting systems.
• Read technical diagrams and blueprint.
• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect X-former and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring or fixtures.
• Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulation.
• Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
• Good knowledge of various test equipment.
• Deep electrical system, power generator, blueprint and maintenance and repair knowledge.

Other Requirements:

• Experience working as an electrician
  • Minimum Grade eight certification
  • Good knowledge of various test equipment
  • Deep electrical system, power generator, blueprint and maintenance and repair knowledge
  • Experience certificate in the field working.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to engage in effective teamwork
  • Ability to represent the University in a professional manner and to communicate effectively and persuasively.
