We are pleased to announce that two AUW students have been selected as 2013 Correspondents for the WORLDPULSE Voices of Our Future Program!  The program provides online training in citizen journalism and digital empowerment for emerging grassroots women leaders. Thirty applicants were selected from a pool of international submissions.  We are proud that our very own Xiang Balacuo and Rabia Salih have been selected to receive ongoing support for the next five months from professional journalist-mentors working with WorldPulse.  They will be guided in developing their journalism writing skills including writing compelling frontline journals, profiles, feature stories and op-eds and instructed on how to use new media to amplify their voices and understand the basics of digital storytelling.  Writing Center tutors Helen Moser, Anina Tweed, Meghan Daniel and Kassi Absar conducted the information sessions on WorldPulse activities in the Spring.
