Students Gain Professional Work Experience while Earning Academic Credit

September 29, 2016, Chittagong, Bangladesh – The Career Development Centre (CDC), in collaboration with Professor Harunur Rashid, hosted the 2nd annual Internship for Credit (IFC) showcase. The IFC program allows students to gain professional work experience while earning academic credit toward graduation. AUW’s Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs, Dr. Rosie Bateson, gave opening remarks about the importance of internships for achieving success in the current job market. AUW students Eshra Hassan, Paromita Basak and Saiba Sahira, shared stories and insights from their IFC experiences in the United States, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
