our Students
AUW students are part of a diverse community of peers in which newly acquired knowledge will be used to confront the most crucial social, economic, and political challenges in their societies today. The University will instill a spirit of service and encourage students to become agents of change in their societies.
The current student body of the Access Academy is comprised of 139 students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, the People's Republic of China, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. Meanwhile, the 154 University students are from those same countries, and include an exchange student from the USA. All of these young women represent the cultural, religious, and economic diversity of our region, making AUW a truly international institution.
